My design journey started when websites were just becoming "a thing." I developed the copy & layout for the first website for the medical practice where I worked. It's been an adventure learning new skills, platforms, and more to help my clients show up as their best online.

As a child I dreamed about becoming a writer. Once I grew up, I realized I had an overly romanticized version of that in my head that was nowhere near reality! However, due to my continued love of reading (and some latent writing-career desires), I made the decision to focus my business on creating eye-catching websites for authors, so you can focus on what you do best and not expend your creative energies on something other than writing.

I was raised in Goodyear Heights just four short blocks from the neighborhood library where I would spend summers checking out books and competing in the book reading contests.
Starting with the typical books for a girl at the time, I read the Little House on the Prairie series, Nancy Drew, and later made the progression to (oh the horror!) V. C. Andrews and Flowers in the Attic.
Reading was always my escape from my traumatic home life. I burrowed in and got lost in other people's worlds for hours on end.
Just a kid from Akron - but without LeBron James' fame and fortune!

My love of the mystery genre started with discovering Robin Cook and his book Coma. From then on, I knew I'd never shy away from a good medical mystery conspiracy theory fest!

Later while working in a family practice, I began little marketing initiatives, designed ads, and conceptualized and wrote the copy for their first website. I returned to college and obtained a bachelor's in business administration and marketing management.
As I have dabbled in entrepreneurship I have created many websites over the years, and a few at other jobs I've held. I come back to it and time and again and finally refused to ignore the calling. I love doing it, I love the creativity and challenge of pulling something from your head and making it reality on the screen.
It all started at my first job after obtaining my medical assisting degree. There was report form that was just horribly designed, so re-designed it. I moved onto other forms, then eventually flyers and brochures.

I am happily married to my best friend and the love of my life. We love to travel, go on day trips on the weekends, and traveling around to various community happenings to stay busy. Bucket list trip I want to take: Paris.
We have two young adult sons, one is a fireman, the other an electronics repair technician.
We are both on our second marriages - older, wiser, but having fun through it all.
It's really not all that juicy, sadly.
